I just drove 10 hours by myself with a passenger seat full of food and drinks and a playlist of 127 songs. My face feels weird and is really red and last time I stopped to get gas I almost fell over but I was an hour away from Nashville so that wasn’t about to happen and I pushed through it to make record time even though part of it was through a monsoon where I wasn’t sure if I was going to lose my life on I-24 or not. Now I’m sitting in the parking lot of a Food Lion with the window cracked trying to fix my face and also my over caffeinated shaking hands.

But I’m here! And we are going to find an apartment. So once I find a floor to collapse on and a sink to wash my face, all will be well.
